1. Overview
At Temi Technologies Ltd, we strive to provide excellent products and services. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds are and are not available across our products including Writera, Nocify, Yarnie, and other services.
We process payments through Paddle, our merchant of record, which handles all billing, refunds, and payment-related enquiries for our digital products.
2. AI Credits & Digital Products
Credit-Based System:
Our products (including Writera and Yarnie) operate on an AI credit system. Credits are:
• Consumed immediately when you generate content using our AI
• Non-refundable once purchased, as they provide instant access to our services
• Never expire - unused credits remain in your account indefinitely
• Non-transferable between accounts
Why No Refunds:
AI credits are digital goods that are consumed upon use. Once you generate a document, the AI processing resources have been used and cannot be recovered. This is similar to purchasing and using a digital service - once delivered, it cannot be "returned."
Subscription Services:
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• No partial refunds are provided for unused subscription time
• You retain access until the end of your paid period
3. When Refunds ARE Available
We process refunds only in the following circumstances:
Billing Errors:
• Incorrect amount charged (e.g., charged more than displayed price)
• Duplicate or double charges for the same purchase
• Unauthorised charges (verified fraud cases)
• Payment was processed but credits were never added to your account
Technical Failures:
• Complete service outage preventing access to purchased credits
• System error where payment succeeded but no credits were delivered
For eligible refunds, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
4. When Refunds Are NOT Available
The following are not eligible for refunds:
• Used AI credits - Once credits are consumed to generate content, they cannot be refunded
• Unused AI credits - Credits never expire and can be used anytime, so refunds are not available
• Completed generations - Documents that have been generated or downloaded
• Subscription time - Partial refunds for unused subscription periods
• Change of mind - Deciding you no longer want the service after purchase
• Content dissatisfaction - Use our regeneration feature instead (included free)
• Outcome-based claims - We don't guarantee admissions, visa approvals, or other external outcomes
• Policy violations - Accounts suspended for Terms of Service breaches
5. Quality Concerns
If you're not satisfied with a generated document or output:
• Regenerate: Most products allow unlimited regeneration at no extra cost
• Edit: Use our editing features to refine the content
• Contact Support: Our team can help you get better results
We address quality concerns through product improvement and support, not refunds. Our commitment is to help you achieve the best possible results with our tools.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
1. Gather Information:
• Transaction ID or receipt number
• Date of purchase
• Amount charged
• Reason for refund request
• Any supporting documentation

7. Paddle as Merchant of Record
Our digital products are sold through Paddle, which acts as our merchant of record. This means:
• Paddle processes all payments and issues invoices
• Refund requests may be handled directly by Paddle
• You may see "Paddle" on your bank statement
• Paddle handles VAT/tax calculations and compliance
For billing enquiries, you can also contact Paddle directly through the receipt email you received at purchase.
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect:
• Contact us first before disputing with your bank
• We can often resolve issues faster than a bank dispute process
• Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in account suspension
• We cooperate fully with payment provider investigations
Fraudulent chargeback claims may result in permanent account termination and may be reported to fraud prevention services.
9. Pro-Rata Refunds for Annual Plans
For annual subscription plans:
• No pro-rata refunds are available for early cancellation
• You retain access for the full period you've paid for
• Consider monthly plans if you're unsure about long-term commitment
• Annual plans typically offer significant savings compared to monthly billing
